Man, I was planning on it being that weekend before the season.  Isn't that when it usually is?  This screws me up.

Man, I was planning on it being that weekend before the season.  Isn't that when it usually is?  This screws me up.

It can't be -- the Bucs have a home game that weekend.

Plus, we've known it was 8/10 for a month or so now.

I'm glad it's not the weekend before the season starts this year.  I wouldn't be able to make it if it was.  I lucked out with that.

USF's Bulls Fan Fest set for Aug. 10

The University of South Florida has announced its football media day is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 10. Immediately following the media day will be the Bulls Fan Fest at Raymond James Stadium.

More information will be available in the coming weeks, according to USF news release.

The Bulls look to improve on their 2007 campaign, in which they finished 9-4, made their debut in The Associated Press Top 25 poll for the first time in school history and eventually vaulted to the No. 2 ranking in the country. Various media outlets have USF ranked among the top 25 football programs in the nation entering the '08 season.
