Florida Four

I personally consider us as part of the "Florida Four". but I think that if we beat Miami next season, EVERYONE will consider us in the "Florida Four"

I have said it on the other boards and I will do so here.

UF = 2 national championships 7 SEC championships

FSU = 2 national championships 12 ACC championships

UM = 5 national championships 9 Big East championships

USF = 0 national championships 0 conference championships

Just because USF had a great two thirds of a season last year means nothing.  It is where you finish!  Remember, "finish strong."

I would like to see a 2 day Florida Four hoops tournament around christmas time.

Say:

USF v UF

FSU v Miami

the next day the two winners play and the two losers play.

That would pack any area in Florida.

I am old enough to remember the last two "Florida Fours" that were both won by........

We need to win championships!!!! Also be consistant in the big east. Win the big east and get into the BCS year in and year out!!!

Another couple years and I believe Stan will have us ready for that, but I think we would have a much better chance competing in Football this year.

You won't see FSU and Miami -- that would be a conference game.  It would be either FSU or Miami, but not both.

You would have to add another Florida team - FIU or FAU, UCF, Stetson, FGCU, etc...

You also wouldn't get FSU to play UF in any round robin... as they have an annual game already.

HOWEVER... this is a good idea.  The Forum could host it - and all we would need is a sponsor to give $$ for the four teams to make it reality.
