Florida Four

I am sure someone has said this or thought of this but lets start right here and now - NO MORE BIG THREE.  We don't post it write it say it or think it.  Any correspondence or postings on other web sites we don't respond to it.  When writing or speaking to anyone writer or announcer we say "FLORIDA FOUR".  Now say it twenty times and let us be the folks that got the "FLORIDA FOUR" going .  If everyone on the board starts calling it this we will soon see it picked up by other folks.  So what do ya say ?  Join me -

I've always said we should aim for higher recoginition than the Big 3 status.  Why limit ourselves to just the state of Florida?  How about we become known as a national power instead?

Deep down, I agree, but we have not earned that position yet.  We need to have a few top 20 years, and beat UM/UF/FSU if we want to prove we belong. 

We are getting aheads of ourselves thinking otherwise....

Trust me, end up top 20 and ahead of UM or FSU this year and next, the media will take care of it and crown us as having arrived.

I personally consider us as part of the "Florida Four". but I think that if we beat Miami next season, EVERYONE will consider us in the "Florida Four"

I have said it on the other boards and I will do so here.

UF = 2 national championships 7 SEC championships

FSU = 2 national championships 12 ACC championships

UM = 5 national championships 9 Big East championships

USF = 0 national championships 0 conference championships

Just because USF had a great two thirds of a season last year means nothing.  It is where you finish!  Remember, "finish strong."

Need to Win the Big East and end up ahead of FSU and UM.  Then, that will be a good start.  Plus, win the Bowl this time.
