I almost forgot what it was like to throw things at the tv over a rays game.  I don't like this nostalgic feeling.

But the difference now is this team is supposed to beat crappy teams like the Indians.  Last year, we were suppose to lose to everybody.

This is horrible.  I took last night off from baseball (for the most part) to hang out with the wife and friends.  I was glad I did.  I've watched as much as I can handle tonight.  I'm done with baseball till after the break.  I know everyones saying they need a break, but so do I dammit.  This team is killing me right now.

playing like they dont care. no heart. it was fun while it lasted but this looks like the real rays

you guys are a joke.  they lose a few games and hit a slump for 5 games and you forget what happened the other 85  games.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not throwing in the towel or anything.  I'm just taking the rest of this weekend off.

It's one thing to get in a slump but the Rays aren't even giving themselves a chance to win these games.  These are ugly losses (almost as ugly as miamisportsfans mother).  I wish Maddon would just freak out one time to see if he gets a reaction from the team.

glad I didn't miss anything after I left.

to put it in perspective, there was one point in the season where the unflappable red sox lost 5 in a row and averaged 0.5 runs a game.

They obviously didn't care and had no heart ...... although, I'm not sure what in the Hell "no heart" means.

Yes because Maddon's quiet and calm demeanor is really helping the team right now.  A month ago the White Sox were not scoring runs (against us) and Ozzie Guillen went off on the team and it fired them up.  I think they went on a 7 game winning streak or something.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
