The Rays are at it again

Getting great opportunities with runners in scoring position and then striking out.  And they're doing this against a rookie pitcher who has a 4.14 era in AAA.  I can understand cliff lee but they are making bad or average pitchers look like Johan Santana.  It has to be mental right now.

Its definitely mental now.  BJ Upton is getting a night off because he couldnt hit a beach ball right now.  Carl is next.

Rays are wishing the all star break started 5 games ago.

4-0 now and even garza is pitching like @ss.  I hope they wake up after the all-star break.  And I hope they enjoy their week and a half long vacation from the game of baseball.

seems like garza is getting 2 strikes on EVERY hitter but then not able to strike them out.  giving up basehits when he is way ahead in the count
