It was really only a matter of time until he resigned or was asked to leave.  Glad he left somewhat on his terms.

great news. besides drafting vinny and brad, his drafts have sucked

since the lockout, the team hasn't been that great... but he did basically build the team out of the $hitter into a cup winner

he will be employed again as soon as he wants to be

LOL ...... The GM couldn't build a team and Torts couldn't coach yet the team made the playoffs how many years in a row and won a Cup .....I'm thinking most Lightning fans would laugh at you like we are on this.
