For those early hot games I might start bringing Heinekin Light to the tailgate.  Very pleased with this beer.  Refreshing.

agreed, heiny light is good...  Much different than their regular beer, but more flavor than most light beers.

Yeah, one of the better light beers out there.  Amstel light and Becks light aren't too bad either.

I have not, but their Celebration Ale (winter season) is very good and I imagine that this would be the same.

I cant believe this thread has gone on so long without anyone mentioning America's oldest and best beer: Yuengling. And I just tried Yuengling light a couple weeks ago when I took the brewery tour (again lol) and that was even good. Better than those watered down buds and millers.

However, I will say, that those are typically better for tailgating. Yuengling is meant to be enjoyed, not chugged and pissed out shortly after lol. But, I may be switching to tailgating with Yuengling Light this season, we'll see.

On another note, whenever we get an OCS, i think we should serve Yuengling, considering the proximity of the brewery.

O and ofcourse, I'm for including a Mr. Dunderbach's somewhere in the stadium as well  ;D

Sam Adams Cherry wheat is very good as well, if you want something a little sweet.

Last year I only saw two draft beer choices, Bud and Bud Light.  Plus, the in-the-stands vendors I ran across only had cans of Bud and Bud Light.  In years past, I remember having other choices, like IceHouse.  I'm hoping for more beer diversity in 2008, but I'm not expecting anything new.  Maybe if InBev buys out BUD, we can get something different.

Yes, there may be a choice between Heferweissen or britbeurger

1st choice: Guiness

2nd choice: Guiness

3rd choice: Grolsch

I haven't tried Grolsch yet,

For commercial beers I go with:

1.Guiness (Extra Stout not Draught)

2.Heineken

3. Dog Fish Head 90-120 min IPA

Dogfish Head is a little hard to find, Beverage Castle  on 56th and Fowler carries it

Almost all Domestic Beers suck ass,

I guess Michelob Amber Bock and Killians are decent for Domestics  (Killians is not a real irish beer for those who think otherwise)

If you're in the mood for a lager, Grolsch (served very cold) has a nice bitter taste with a semi-sweet aftertaste.  It doesn't leave me hungover either, unless I drink more than 6 of `em.  They also make an amber ale (much better than say Killians or Amber Bock) a very good Summer Blonde Ale (reminiscint of Hefe Weisen) and a Pale Ale I've seen at Publix but haven't tried.  Grolsch will still always be secondary to Guiness for me though... Draught, or Stout, I love `em all!

As far as getting good European imports, Schiller's Deli on Manhattan and El Prado in south Tampa gets just about anything you can think of for a decent price.  They carry all of the Paulanar lines of beer.  It's the only place in town I've seen a case of Bitburger in cans for about $23.  That's less than a buck a decent beer.  They also import the best bratwurst on the planet.  It's also a great place to eat luch and have a quick beer (Mr. Dunderbak's food is garbage in comparo).  Bad part is they close early on weekdays (5 or 6) and aren't open Sundays, so plan ahead if you're prepping for a tailgate.
