WE WILL SEE if cc can take brewers to promised land

wish he stayed in AL

You should worry about the Mets before you start to worry about the Brewcrew

CC going to the Brewers was best-case scenario for the Rays.  Kept him from the Red Sox and Yankmees' grubby paws, and we won't have to worry about him unless we play the Brewers in the W.S.  Plus we don't have to mortgage the future for a few months' rental.  With Price and hopefully Niemann coming up, along w/ the guys we have now, starting pitching should be the least of our concerns for the next few years (barring injury, of course).

Im happy the Rays didnt trade for CC.  He doesnt have it this year.  It seems like every pitch he throws is for an extra million dollars next year.  Last year he relaxed and played his game and was dominant, this year he has dollar signs in his head.

The rays should make a strong move for Brian Fuentes from the Rockies.  They can use a closer or some setup help.

most importantly...we dont have to face him next week like we were supposed to when we go to cleveland.

i wasnt worried about him going to the red sox or yanks (they simply do not have enough young talent in their minor leagues to offer unless you consider a guy like clay bucholtz or phillip hughes which neither team was willing to part with for santana)

however, the only drawback i can see from this is that means the red sox, yankees, twins, tigers and the rest of the AL won't have to face CC either.
