I thought we were #17.........and THEN defeated the #5 team SMU.  How/Why did we slide down 2 spots?

There are 4 major polls for soccer.  There is the NSCAA, the Soccer Times, College Soccer News, and Soccer America.  We were ranked 17 in the Soccer America poll, but was bumped down to 18, but we should improve on that.  We were not ranked in the College Soccer News until this week. We are also ranked # 23 in the SoccerTimes poll.  The NSCAA poll comes out at 9 pm and we should be ranked in that poll as well.  Hope that helps out.

This Saturday, USF Men's Soccer plays against St. Louis (formerly ranked #4 in the College Soccer News poll)...

Too bad I'll be at Elmer's watching the USF-TCU game instead - this would have been a good game to watch.

I just heard about the St Louis game and was going to run over and catch it. I didn't realize it was the same time as the TCU game. At least now I have an alternative if the TCU game goes south ..........   ;D

Hey Everyone:

You will hopefully hear some more about this later in the week but prior to the St. Louis/USF soccer match, there will be an over 35 exhibition match between former USF Soccer Players and former Tampa Bay Rowdies players.  This game will begin at 4 p.m.  One ticket gets you into both games ($5 adult/$3 children under 13 and seniors), USF Students get in free.

Should be pretty entertaining and a great warm up for a huge soccer match at 7 p.m.  Hope to see you all there.  Go Bulls!

Now with at least one USF football  ;) team doing well, maybe some of you Jim Rome type will start to change your strips regarding the game.
