Big deal. No one is losing sleep over it, other than smazz. We don't have Bowling, Lacrosse, etc (other than club level) either.

Though, Nebraska has no bearing on why...A few sports USF should pick up on:Men’s hockeyWomen’s GymnasticsMen’s and women’s LacrosseMen’s and women’s swimmingWith the revenue from the Big East we should be able to field such teams. Hockey has the potential to pay for itself eventually (though without a rink near campus it's not very likely to happen).

The better football does, the more money there will be for all the sports that can't hold their own weight. But the money and investment must come first. I'm all for adding other sports, but honestly, not in the next decade.Lets get the cafeteria, indoor practice facility, baseball stadium, softball stadium, soccer stadium, maybe an on campus football stadium first and worry about swimming and all 20 of its fans later. With the Gigantic increase I don't think 6 sports are going to push our athletics into the red.------------and if athletics couldn't improve our facilities because of a swimming or dive team we'd need to consider a new director.
