Good little snippet in the comment section as well.  If you click on the usf you can see the rankings of each.  Smazza will be very upset to see Rutgers ahead of us!

the thing about recruiting......if you are 1st or 31st....

it aint where you start its where you finish.

i remember when fred rouse was a superstar recruit for FSU....same with willie williams....

5 star guys...now out of football....

so yea recruiting is usually solid but they do miss some kids.

Rezz,

Rouse and Williams had very little to do with talent and everything to do with behavior and attitude.

These rankings are bsed on what those at Rivals believe the quality of the player is.

They do miss when it comes to 5 stars, but those guys usually work out.

Actually, a few years back, such as last year we would have been 40 or 50, so again we are improving.  With any luck we will finish in the top 25.

a few years back, we wouldn't have any commits yet.

Rivals has already ranked 13 verbals for Rutgers. Six more RU verbals have not yet been ranked by them.

Rivals has only ranked 8 verbals for USF. They haven't yet ranked three other USF verbals.

So, it's not at all surprising that at this point Rutgers is ranked so high.

This is certainly a positive sign, even if the concept is overrated.  Being anywhere in the top 30 is a big improvement.
