Brad Posted July 1, 2008 Group: Admin Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 91,411 Reputation: 8,210 Days Won: 381 Joined: 05/19/2000 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Courtesy USFUSF Baseball Adds Pair of Summer Camps TAMPA, Fla. – University of South Florida baseball coach Lelo Prado has added two day camps to the summer schedule; both are for youth ages 7-12 years old and will be held at Red McEwen Field in Tampa. The first camp will be July 14-18 and the second is July 21-25. Each of the sessions will cost $150 per camper and run from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. daily. “The purpose of the Lelo Prado Baseball Camps are to give each player the best possible instruction and evaluation from our coaching staff,†said Coach Prado. Camps are designed to stress fundamentals on all aspects of the game as well as strategy, drills and team concepts. Campers are divided by age and ability for group and individualized instruction and games. Academics, recruiting procedures and drug/alcohol awareness will also be discussed, and when available, qualified guest speakers will make appearances. The camps will be facilitated by the USF baseball coaching staff as well as players from the Bulls team. Head coach Prado will be assisted by USF coaches Lazer Collazo, Bryant Ward, Tino Martinez and Greg Parris.
