Since many are in doomsday mode, what are the two worst consecutive losses in Bulls history?

We last lost two in a row in 2002 (Arkansas and Oklahoma).  Before that - it was 1998 (Western Kentucky and Hofstra).  

We lost three in a row and then two in a row in 1997.  

Just getting you all ready.

I'd say we have been pretty good in our short history at making adjustments and getting better.  We've lost consecutive games just four times in 8 seasons.  We've lost two consecutive games twice in the last 7 seasons.  

Have some faith.

We'll get over this, get better and move on to the next game.

I do to on defense.

Again, one solace is generally speaking when USF is more talented then our opposition we win.  There are only a few exceptions in our short history where we lost when we should have won, or the reverse.  Most of the losses when we should have won were the results of turnovers, i.e. UAB, Baylor, USM (last year), Hofstra (choose), and the first James Madison game.

Athletically it allows our defense to dominate, and then we usually do just enough with our athletes to win the game.  Considering the remainder of our games, only UL can really say they're more talented, and we should be about equal with Pitt, Memphis, and TCU.  

Therefore, if schemes are shored up on offense, and some tightening occurs on defense, and you can bet your ass that will occur, then we can still fare very well in C-USA competition.

I think we all are a bit nervous Velco but ya gotta keep the faith.  The Bulls track record has always been to improve as the season goes on.  I think we are all feeling like can we score any points this season ?
