-- Defensive tackle Richard Clebert's stay with the CFL's Montreal Alouettes didn't last long. He was cut June 15, barely a week after joining the Alouettes in preseason camp. Former USF safety Jeremy Burnett was cut this week by the Saskatchewan Roughriders, leaving receiver S.J. Green as the Bulls' lone representative in the CFL.

Per Greg's blog. I didn't see it posted anywhere.

So, what the heck happened?  What's up with him?

I dont watch any CFL but I was told that the DL men are usually smaller and faster. Clebert dosent fit the CFL mode if that is correct. He also had 2 long time vets in front of him.

The local paper's original story when he signed had it in the context of bringing an extra player in preseason because of a rash of injuries, so I don't know that he expected to stick very long in camp.

Interesting

His story seems to be an adventure.

I wonder where he'll pop up next.

At least S. J. Green (always fun to watch and full of spirit) is still alive.  The goal right now is to have one player active in each league:  Arena, Arena II, CFL, NFL Europe, NFL.  I bet this is true as of now, today that is.
