Being that most work until at least 5, it will give those who don't leave work early the opportunity to make the game on time and maybe even tailgate a little bit. I was planning on taking Friday the 3rd off anyway.

The game ends after midnight then add the traffic into driving home and you don't get home until 1 if you live close, or 2:30 if you live where I do. That makes for a hellish friday!Fortunately that's what vacationdays are for, but the late start may not be the best for fringe fans. Although they might not realize the game will be 4 hours and the post game traffic will be bad.

I prefer later games, and love the idea of playing thursday and friday night contests. Only problem is we don't get much time off between games. Vacation days are safer
