He's also a part owner of the Florida Panthers per paper today ..... Didn't realize you could do that.

I don't think you can, perhaps he's agreed to sell his piece of the Panthers as part of the NHL approval.  Since he's a USF alum, I can see where he'd prefer to be in Tampa.

Pretty sure you can in the NHL as long as he stays a minority shareholder... unlike most other sports

All eight members of the OK Hockey group were revealed. In addition to majority partners Koules and Barrie, the ownership team includes Mark Burg, Koules' partner at Evolution Entertainment; investment banker Russell Belinsky; advertising executive Jordan Zimmerman; orthopedic surgeon Richard C. Lehman; Kane's CEO Irwin Novak; and businessman Craig Sher.

Isn't Jordan Zimmerman a USF Alum?  Anyone know?
