throws. Obviously, the INT was a poorly placed ball... it looked like he threw the ball up for grabs thinking his wideout would get there. He had another deep ball that should've been intercepted but got dropped. His short game was on... his long game was horrible.

Julmiste... hell, his first ball was six yards short from a VERY WIDE OPEN receiver 15 yards down the field. It bounced to the receiver on the throw. He was absolutely horrible and looked like he did during the Spring game. His game was garbage, as was Banks.

They both stunk up the field, but at least Banks moved us down the field some.

How about taking the blame off the QB's and question the O-coordinator and his gimmick offense. Neither QB can run it well... so scrap it!

We are in trouble boys.  One thing is clear to me.  Start developing other QB's beside Banks.  We know he cant handle the pressure.  He may play great in practice but at game time (sucks).  PJ din't play any better.

I agree Terry.  The play calling was horrible!  He threw when he should have run and went for the long ball on 3rd down instead of 1st.  That pass to the flats was horrible!  And we kept running it like it was succesful or something.  I couldn't believe it!  We may not have been able to win that game, but after the 1st quarter I thought it might be a good game.  Until Hobbie kept our defense out there too long and they just tired out.  That Williams kid (WR) was impressive but we made him look like a hall of famer already.

Absolutely agree Sheriff. The offensive scheme needs to change. Crossley ran 9 times for 44, Hall 8 for 41. Several times each out of our garbage spread.  That's 5 yards per carry for with either one of them. So run the **** ball.

When we ran the ball, we moved the ball. That is until Hobbie decided to go back to the spread and throw the ball around for no reason.

Banks was 12-22 for 104 yards. But his longest completion was 29 yards (which by the way was a short slant that Chambers ( I think) made into a long gain). So take out the 1 pass for 29 and He's 11-21 for 75 yards. That's not quite 7 yards per completion.

So if I'm the OC, I would hope to be smart enough to GET THE HINT! If I'm getting 5 per play running and less than 7 throwing, I'm going to run the ball. Right?

Julmiste was horrible, going 2-10 for 7 yards. And most of his misses weren't even close!

Oh yeah and when we did line up with the QB under center, we didn't throw the ball once. And we were still able to run the ball! So make that the base formation (one back, two back, I, Pro-set, whatever) and install some play action passes!

The schedule's not getting any easier so change it now!

I form.  Two tight end set.  Play action now and then.  Occasional deep shot.  Hand the ball to the fullback (crossley as FB).  QB draw (they can't throw it anyway).  Throw it about 40% of the time.

This will keep us in games and our D alive.  We have the personnel for it.  Do it!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
