What are some of our worst defeats in football thus far?

In my mind:

1) Oregon

2) Arkansas

3) Utah

I'd love another shot at all three of those teams.  >:(

Oregon was just ugly.

But both Rutgers losses stung more. First the Amp Hill dropped 2 pt conversion that HIT HIM IN THE CHEST! And ofcourse the referee assited win last year to knock us off #2

Third game in our history...at home to Drake.  We lost to a freaking non-scholarship team.....in the Sombrero.  sigh

Losing out on a string of dynamic QB recruits, resulting in the use of guys that gave their heart and soul to the program, but weren't what our program needed at the time.

Losing Shurron Pierson to the draft after his junior year.  Man, what he coulda done with a senior year in green and gold.

Normal

Army has turned into the most overrated defeat in Bulls history.  It is now recounted as a cautionary tale of when bad things happen to good teams.  In actuality, USF was not that good that year.

Oregon was by far the crappiest coaching job I have seen from CJL and staff.  Worse yet, it was an opportunity to give Pac-10 beat writers and fans a display of USF up close. . . . . and we tanked.

IMO, any anti-USF bias in the AP, Coaches or Harris polls next will be attributed to west-coast bias that we could have addressed on national telly against Oregon.

But didn't Hall rush for like 230 in that game? I think that is the thing that kills us, we wasted a phenominal day for Andre.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
