I'm thinking of getting satellite radio for my car.  I'd like one that I can move from car to home, office, etc.

Which service would you recommend?  Any thoughts on equipment?

I don't know.  I was looking into getting one not long ago.  I didn't really know how they worked and when i found out I opted out.

I really like listening to local sports/talk radio.  Well, they don't do the local shows it's all national radio shows.

So, I'm not sure.  After you get one give an update.  I'm still slightly considering.

Anyone?  Anyone?  Anyone?

That was my feeling when I was trying to research them.

You could try a tech forum.

I have Sirius and really like it. The best thing is the NFL coverage. If you're a baseball/golf guy, XM is the way to go. Unfortunately, I have found that the Bulls games are kind of split if they are on either. Hopefully you don't find yourself away from the TV when we're playing because neither gives you a great way to make sure you have audio for every game.

If you're in to music, they are both pretty similar, gets you out of all of the commercials and most of the talking that you find on other stations.

So, I don't think I helped, but my personal pick is sirius because of the NFL coverage, and I think the music is better.

I have Sirius in my car, and I absolutely love it now. Initially, I thought I'd never give my terestrial radio the boot, but Sirius really won me over. Great music selection, since there's something for everyone, and I get to listen to Howard Stern again. Plus, they have great NFL coverage. You can't beat it.

I had Sirius for three years and liked it.

But XM has the Big East.

I love my Sirius radio and I definately think that it is the best $12 that I spend a month.

Sirius is the way to go.  Better music, Hpward, News, Nascar, NFL, NBA etc.  Plus once the merger goes through it will be a much bigger advantage to have Sirius and be able to add anything you want from XM as opposed to the other way around.
