Rays-Sox Brawl Suspensions in!!!

MLB came down hard on the Rays for Thursday's brawl, suspending James Shields for six games, Jonny Gomes and Edwin Jackson for fives games each, Carl Crawford for four games and Akinori Iwamura for three games.

Three Boston players were also suspended - Coco Crisp for seven games, Jon Lester for five games and Sean Casey for three games.

I applaud the MLB for giving Count Chocula the greatest suspension, since he's the low life scum bag that started the whole incident.  Lester also deserved some sort of punishment for throwing at three Rays hitters.  I didn't see what Aki did in the pile, but three games?  I wonder if he kicked chocula in the face (I can only hope)

All in all, seems pretty fair at first glance.

I'd like it better too, but you have to admit there were a lot more Rays out there pouding on crisp.  What are you going to do, it's not the MLB's fault no sawcks jumped to choculas aid.  Says a lot about the person and the team.

The Marlins are playing the Vero Beach Devil Rays?  No wonder they have a good record, they're scheduling single A teams!  Why don't they play the Tampa Bay Rays instead?  If they do, I hope their fans don't mind getting a loud cowbell played in their ears.
