Fast Facts...

• Boston is 7-0 all-time when holding a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals.

• The Lakers have never overcome a 2-0 deficit in the NBA Finals.

• L.A. is 4-5 on the road this postseason and has lost 10 of its last 14 road playoff games.

He said that he to the Lakers and laid the points in another thread.

lakers will slaughter boston tonight

Well, it wasn't a slaughter, but at least the Lakers showed up finally.

Hope you didn't take the Lakers to cover... all the lines I saw had the Lakers as 9 point faves.  You lost some bank if so.

Game over, celtics are champs.

Strange note...

Glen davis threw the game ball up in the air, and it got stuck on the jumbotron.

It came back down. You could see some ball boys scrambling to catch it at the scorers' table before it bounced into the stands.

The Lakers showed real heart trapping and pressuring the ball once they fell behind by 40 points. And Odom's inspired effort after the Celtics already had 120 points on the board, that was great. And the way Kobe's teammates let him tire himself out in the first quarter and gave him no support all night long, amazing!

In short, they sucked.

Love, Red....

Screw the Celts, bunch of hired guns.  This is like when the Lakers tried to win it by picking up Malone and Payton.

I'd rather see a real "team" like the Spurs or Pistons who I hate win, then a hired squad.

Im happy for Paul Pierce, a true Celtic, and thats about it.

They assimilated well.  The celtics of old were bought teams too.  That's what red did.  The difference is in the word team.  That's what made it fun to watch like celtics of old.
