USF vs. West Virginia at 7 p.m.

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The University of South Florida faces West Virginia University at 7 p.m. Thursday in the BIG EAST Baseball Championship held at Bright House Field.

Freshman Randy Fontanez (4-3, 3.35 ERA) will take the mound for the Bulls while Mountaineer Josh Whitlock (7-6, 5.54 ERA) is expected to make his 14th start. 

The Bulls dropped to 30-26 after an 11-1 loss to Cincinnati in seven innings while West Virginia, who lost 11-5 to Cincinnati on Wednesday, is now 35-20. The winner of the game will play at 1 p.m. Friday, and the loser packs their bags.

First off, they really need to change the name of this tournament.  Every game sounds like the final.

Where do we stand in terms of the tourny?
