Why have we not offered? I just watched the free "gainesville nike camp LB vs. RB" video on rivals and Drone looked like one of the best LB's.

I doubt that, since he lists his interest in USF as being HIGH. He wants to play with his teammate Popek:

Maybe it has to do with academics, but that's strictly a guess.

Popek's dad told me that Plant also has a very good OL who wants to come to USF, but he's not listed on Scout.

No matter how good a kid looks the staff ranks kids.  At this time they may have other DE/LB they are pursuing.  As kids commit elsewhere or state they have no interest they move down the list.  Also, the staff may know that a kid will commit immediately if offered (see Griffith) and they may not be ready to take that kid since they have others they want to hear from first.  It can be dangerous since another school can swoop in and get a kid who was slow-played.

I would expect Drone to get an offer eventually.
