Does anyone notice anything strange?  In my eyes the most glaring position need is OL but theres only 3 on this list,  1 OG and 2 OT.  To make it worse, the OG is the most heavily recruited in the nation so good luck with that one CJL. Everyone seen that video of him I posted a while back right?  We better start focusing more on the line or we're in trouble.

You didn't hear?  We're going to the ULTRA spread offense.  Only need a center, all the rest are WRs/RBs spread from sideline to sideline to create matchup problems and to confuse the defense.

it is incredible that the Bulls are in the running for these guys when the competition is considered.  CJL will have his work cut out for him to win some of these battles and to also have quality 'fallback' options.  Only the best coaches do this well and avoid burning bridges with HS coaches.

Wneed to be focused on  Offensive Linemen and Defensive reloading. We are losing two lb's and possibly a DE and a Safety.  We can have decent wr's and rb's but without some big bodies we are nothing. So I agree. I hope we can sell something to these guys because they will def get some playing time after possibly 1 year. It's early. I wonder if we can get the kid from Fsu that just got let go if his grades are ok. I think he is a Tackle? Anyone know his name...supposed to be pretty big.

Well first, consider the fact that this past recruiting class we signed 5 and possibly 6 OL....Edwards, Garvin, Popek, Jackson, and Esenor with Green seeming to be in line to make it here.  That will put us at 11 OL for the future on scholarship-- Hermann, Tolley, Sims, McCaskill, and McGowan.  We probably need another OL class of 4-5, but we're in no rush to offer anyone.

Second, OL is one of the toughest positions to offer.  USF typically isn't going to be signing the Alajajian's of the world to often....and really those guys aside it's a real, real risk to offer to many OL to early.  Typically a guy that is 6-3 300lbs as a 16 year-old is fat, and athleticism questionable.  USF is looking for guys growing into their position...so while they'll take some select shots at guys like Alajajian, for the most part they'll wait until the end of summer to load up on the OL offers.  After seeing most of them at camps, workouts, and getting lots of good video analysis.

Very reasonable analysis.  Thank you S Bien.
