That's the first thing I was thinking of when I read this. If anything it has to help. Hopefully Goodell (sp?) will issue a timely suspension and Nicholas can step right in. I would rather have him prove it on the field though than have it given to him.

I don't care how he gets the job... just get it.

And once he gets it... he needs to lock it up.  Give them a reason to keep him at that position even when the incumbant returns.
