I saw the lakers in Charlotte the week they got Pau Gasol.  Their bench is deep and fast.

They would get a competitive series from New Orleans, but would make San Antonio (and Boston for that matter) look old.

A championship this year would be the crowning achievement for Phil and Kobe.

They are playing a beautiful brand of basketball.  The offense is crisp and the defense is good (if it was stellar they would be unbeatable).
