This is cool to hear. If we can have another HUGE offensive weapon to play opposite DOJO that could really help.

We don't need a center if we make all our shots. Lets look at it that way! ;D

Those workout videos weren't too impressive.  Not sure why they were posted on you tube.

Jake, was thinking the same thing on the Youtube. If all you're showing is a two-minute clip, go ahead and keep shooting until you hit eight in a row, then throw that clip up online. It's not an indictment of the kid's shooting ability, just his video editing ability ...

is it just me, or does CSH have a thing for Latin players?

Belardo, Espinosa, Rivas and of course Verdejo...

looks like we might have the PR/DR national team playing in the Dome.

Exactly.  And showcase some different moves, not just the lame pump fake and pull up J.  I'll keep an open mind until I see him play.

Graduated: Kentrell Gransberry

Transferred out: Orane Chin, Aaron Holmes, Amu Saaka, Solomon Bozeman.

Returning: G Jesus Verdejo, G Dominique Jones, PG Chris Howard, C B.J. Ajayi, PF Aris Williams

Joined team in January: Mike Mercer

Signed/committed for fall: PG Dwan McMillan, G Gaby Belardo, PF Eladio Espinosa, C Gene Teague, C Alex Rivas-Sanchez

Sounds good to me.

6 backcourt players for 3 positions and 5 frontcourt players from 2 positions...maybe 6 if we get Akol.

A few people on this board have suggested that CSH is going with a 4 guard set but its obvious to me that he's going with a 3-1-1, at least with his starting 5.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
