Shameless prediction:  He'll go to SMU (actually a fine academic school) who will take a flyer on him.  Currently, they are breaking the bank (and soon the rules [again]) to get athletics back on the map.

From what I hear, Ryan will end up going I-AA so that he can play immediately with his remaining 2 years of eligibility.  I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Southern, an HBCU that is also located in Baton Rouge.  There are some other options for him as well, and Miles is working to help Ryan get into whatever school he chooses.

BTW smazza, it wasn't academics, Ryan tested positive for marijuana.
