if we continue to step on our own **** like we do every year, then we will be in st pete for another inaugural bowl game against a garbage opponent

Nope.  They are hoping and praying for Notre Dame.  If ND doesn't make it, then they will pick a Big 12 team so that in 2009 (the last year of their Big East or ND/Big 12 contract), they can hold out for the Irish.  If ND doesn't make it in 2009, then they will HAVE to pick a Big East team.

I really hope we don't end up in St. Pete this year, as I plan on attending it to see a conference rival tear up a CUSA team.

I have a feeling it'll be UL or Uconn.  I guess rutgers has a shot at it seeing as without rice they're gunna be screwed this year.
