Whats happening with J. Green? Did he retake the class? If so did he pass it? I hope so

Greg had an update on him about a month ago:

I checked with Green last week, and he was still in the process of finishing re-taking a class that would supposedly clear up any academic hurdles. He still plans on being at USF this fall, once all that is cleared up.

We took a shot at this kid because he was supposed to be a stud. Too bad he couldn't keep his head in the books. I'm concerned with our O-line depth; it's starting to look more porous than a pumice stone.

I dont see this as a huge issue. The kid clearly didn't have his act together. He was more interested in the "college life" than playing football at a D-1 BCS school. Hell i dont think one day went by that his facebook said he was attending some sort of party (and no i dont stalk him, dam news feed does)

Oline was our #1 problem last year.

It may be this year as well, will wait and see.  Jury is out on this one.

I know CJL has told Popek to be ready to play.  Here's to hoping Popek takes CJL's challenge serious.

leavitt has told josh garvin the same thing.

Here is what our coaches have to say and watch them in action. They both have experience playing tackle in HS

Popek

It's a safe bet that Leavitt has told Damien Edwards to be ready to play as well, even though he is probably considered more of a project  than the other two guys.

He must have passed his algebra class, based on today's headline on USF Rivals:

"Recruit Green hoping things are now in order"
