at this point, i just want to see USF history be made, regardless of what NFL franchise makes it happen.

When the Bucs made those comments Im sure they thought Talib wouldnt be availbale at 20 either.

He'll get picked in the 1st round. no worries

Go read the bucs blog on Tampabay.com It was Bruce Allen who got the final decision, not Gruden (HE wouldve gone WR anyways)

Im a Bucs fan, wish they wouldve taken Jenkins, but on the good side, Jenkins goes to a team that has a lot better chance of winning the super bowl in the next year or two

Ok, my original boycotting the bucs idea (not mentioned, but considered) is retracted.  It was mentioned that the bucs system requires a lot of CBs tackling RBs.  Jenkins may not be the best at that.

Still quit baffled and upset, but not as much now that Jenkins got picked up.

I hope Talib is arrested for pot the first week of training week, screw you Gruden

That would be priceless...

Talib fits the system better.  Mike is more a of a man on man corner.  In the bucs system you need to be a consistent tackler against the run, that is mikes biggest flaw.

In the Buc's system, you don't win championships either...

Talk about systems all you want...but the Bucs missed out on Jenks.  Whatever, I don't want our players sticking around here anyway.  They need to get out and spread the USF NAME!!!

GO BULLS!!!

GO DOLPHINS!!!

You know, I would expect this kind of outrage from someone who doesn't know anything about football, but when it's all started by a guy who PLAYED VARSITY FOOTBALL AT USF, I don't understand it at all.

Mike Jenkins is a borderline shutdown corner. The Bucs almost never play man-to-man. It would have been a waste of his talents. The Cowboys are a much better fit for him - they play lots of man, they already have an elite corner on the other side (Terence Newman) and he also lets Anthony Henry move back to safety where I think he's more comfortable anyway.

But no, don't use any common sense... you all just keep screaming and yelling and beating your chest. Hey, here's an idea! The Bucs need a WR. Why don't they draft Amarri Jackson in the second round!
