Leave very early if driving to game, we left about 4 hours before game and found parking on side street for 20 bucks or so. This town lives and breathes football.....our hotel had local paper posted on front door saying U Suck at Football..........needless to say we took a few pics by it after the game!!! Check out the state park on other side of Cheat Lake, about 20 minute drive, you can drive to top of mountain/hill.........great view.

It will give you their Corporate ID number to use and save about 40-50%. you dont need to fly southwest to use it. i just rented a car in phily this past weekend and flew on US Airways. I was able to save about 50 bucks off the best rate for the weekend rental

I have family in New Castle and Pittsburgh so I can get a few nights with them, but it looks like all the hotels in Morgantown are booked solid for saturday night.I don't really want to drive 1.5 - 2 hrs back to PA after the game. Does anyone know where to look for hotels, or should I just suck it up and drive?

So your two options there would be to 1. Stay Friday and Saturday night ($150/per night) or 2. stay (or at least pay) for Saturday night and Sunday night as well. Their rates are $150/night for Friday and Saturday and $79 for Sunday. You could also try the name your own price option on Priceline. I was able to get the same rooms for about $110/night. I didn't think about the multiple night thing. I'll look again.

See if you can get a room for just Saturday night. I would put in a room offer of at least $110 or $115 or so. Good luck.
