Something tells me teams will take a pass on Ben (which I think is a mistake).

USF players don't get the benefit of the doubt... hell, Andre couldn't get drafted and he led the Big East in rushing.  With the BS surrounding his family situation and his projected lower round status initially... I think he ends up going the FA route. 

Unless he killed in interviews at the combine and at workout day.

I agree...Ben will have to go to the lower ranks of arena ball maybe or Europe.  His skills are in line but he does not stand apart from the others.  We know he is quite good but the NFL wants the best.  No digs but Ben may make it or he may not....will see saturday and so on.....go bulls.

Might end up with a "courtesey" free agent signing with Tampa Bay (like they did with Hall and a few other players from USF)...Tampa Bay is set at ILB with Barrett Ruud, but special teams could be a deciding factor...

my prediction:  during his NFL career, ben will turn out 2nd round production as a 6th round pick

seems like a Zach Thomas type to me.

He has none of the prototypical measureables but overachieved with Miami
