We also have a Fan Fest but it is a separate event in the Fall, usually the week before the season starts. It was a great time last year at Ray Jay. All the fans and children got autographs and to interact with players.

I really prefer having it separate events.

You see, this is why no one shows up to our spring game. Marketing does nothing to promote the game, and there is nothing there for the kids to do. Its just show up and watch football. If they had things for the fans to do, like games and promo stuff, I think there would be a huge increase in attendance.

Or Ito.  He was awesome.  I hated him with a passion.  However, USF was the first team to block one of his FGs in 2007.  We all know how the recovery of that one went =/

The spring game doesnt need attendance really! It would just be a financial burden, since its free and we do it at ray jay.

Our athletic department has bigger and better things to spend money on.

Are you kidding me? What about food and beverage sales? Just the excitement of football in general? So UF didnt need the 61,000 fans to show up to theres? Im sure they benefited from it, chief.

We get nothing from food and beverage sales at Tax Payer Stadium but I am sure the Bucs appreciate our efforts.
