Roster Update

never saw one that listed him as a freshman. there was no information on him -- city, school, height,weight, etc. -- besides his position on the only roster i saw that had him on it. i was able to track down the background info on him friday.

it's kind of nerve racking looking at all the OL we lose next year!

What's even more nerve racking is the fact our 2nd corners have no game time experience.

apparently they also left a few guys on the roster that were cut too..., i would wait till later in the fall to worry about rosters, they don't know whats going on in the spring, and they add walk-ons in summer also, its all messed up over in the athletics office.

When did McKaskill move to NT?  I thought he was the 2nd string C.

I had never noticed this before, but I assume we'll continue to sign a fair number of centers so we can move some of them to other spots on the OLine and DLine.  Similar to what we do by signing QBs and RBs that move to other positions.

Nobody moved. There are two McCaskills. Kevin is a center, Keith is a linebacker turned defensive lineman. Kevin's still a center, and started for his team Saturday.

This is interesting to see because players like

Bedford. Selvie clone. Will he earn the job opposite Selvie. If not I hope he gets significant playing time.

George Baker. I would like to see him get on the field immediately to be sort of like Jenks.

Quavon Taylor needs some playing time. If not redshirt him I guess.

Craig Marshall will be an impact.

and BJ will they redshirt him even though Cjl has talked about him getting on the field. I really hope he redshirts because gregory has shown he can back up grothe for this year and then Voss and Daniels battle for number 2.

I just want to see how Cjl decides to get these guys some experience. I like our roster. If we are young at these positions and have some success look out!

The 2 deep on the O-Line really concerns me. 

Where is Kevin McCaskill?  I thought he was the #2 center?

Tolley tore an ACL, so who is the backup RT? 

Herzhauser and McGowan are both listed at 260 and have no experience.

Edenfield isn't listed so I don't think he can be counted on.

I like the starting 5, but they MUST STAY HEALTHY!
