Anyone know of any MUST SEES in Columbia, SC???

Ricks Cafe (Or is it Ricks Place) is pretty good, but no where to bring the wife and kids..... ;)

If you're bringing the family, Columbia has one of the best zoos in the Southeast.  We also have a nice museam and a new kids museum (a bit overpriced).  For night life, there's five points and the Vista.  Five points is geared more towards college students, whereas the Vista is more professionals.

All the above, with the exception of the zoo, are right near downtown.

Also, as a side note, if you have a Lowry Park Zoo annual pass, you can get admission to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia free of charge by showing your Lowry Park Zoo pass.

Part of the Reciprocal Admission Program the zoos run.

Five Points and the Vista.  Five Points is right next to campus.  The Vista is in a historic area of Columbia, lots of restaraunts and bars at both.
