Nice to have solid depth at QB although I'm sure CJL is also trying to push Matt.  It will be interesting to see how they progress during the spring.  Also found the move in the middle to be interesting.  It should be a real battle to replace Ben.

I for one would like to see Grant get more playing time. Grothe is good, but is he the best qb on the team?

I'd still say Grothe is better, but Grant is close enough to make things interesting.

A couple times this past season, when we get behind, Grothe will start pressing too hard and try to force passes that he shouldn't.  I think in those limited situations, I would sit Grothe for a series or two to let him refocus.  A change of pace with Gregory might even help.  He's paid his dues.  Oh, it's also good to see Chris Robinson back in the mix.

Grothe is our best QB but he needs to learn when not to force things. We cant have him throwing INTs if we expect to win.

Boy you all are very tough on one very good QB.  Be careful what you ask for.  You all will be screaming to get #8 back in the game.

This debate is ridiculous.  Matt is the man.

Grant was playing against the number two defense, Grothe against the ones---- take that into account.

So silly.... we have no idea what they were even working on.  They weren't try to win a ballgame.  They may have been working on certain aspects of the passing game that was weakness... who knows. I am pretty  sure that the coaches already knew that the Bulls would win.  When it comes to game time Grothe is the man you want out there to start the game.  This is the time to work on various aspects of the game and the system.

The only meaningful playing time we have seen Gregory get was in the Sun Bowl and he did nothing.
