Ignoring the W/L on the season, I sat and watched the USF / UCONN Game a few weekends ago.  We were hanging in tough until late in the game and almost won in OT.

Now flash forward, UCONN is #1 in the nation.

In many games we were close through most of the game.  We almost beat the number 1 team in the land.

If Stan can make some adjustments in the off season and if we can develop a bench.  There is no reason we cannot be a middle of the BEAST team next year and make the BEAST tourney next year, and then make the NCAA's the year after.

Dreaming, maybe, but I think it could happen and am optimistic that Stan can make it happen for us.  I say give him two years.

I too agree that Stan can make it happen when he starts to get "his" recruits in here.

And I guarantee that we'll be in the Big East Tourney next season (of course, so will the other 15 BE basketball teams).

If we make the NCAA's in two years I'm going on record right now saying that CSH should get a lifetime contract ...

Well Stan has openly stated that he recruited DoJo while at Arkansas.  Obviously he didn't get him so its not who he recruits but who he commits to USF.  And thats a taller task than at Arkansas.  I am hopeful but lets just wait and see. Also, I too don't see USF not making the BEAST Tourney next year  ;)

I agree.  Plus a billion dollar buyout clause cuz Mr Heath is just building his resume.

Ding, ding, ding.  I guess the UConn women look and play like men.  Our guys probably could take their girls....maybe.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
