would it have been a good idea-- or even possible-- for USF to call a time out after we made that shot to take the lead in OT?

I know they tried to defend the play-- but we seemed a little awe struck that we hit that shot and not focused on slowing the progress up the court.

Great effort today by the Bulls--- keep playing like that and I doubt any norml fan will have much to complain about (oh-- but they certainly will of course)

good idea. i dont know what the timeout situation was but if we had one it would of been a good time to use it

I don't think CSH would want to give U Conn the chance to set up the play... despite the fact that it would have helped the team get ready on defense.

If UConn had scored after a USF timeout, some fans would call for Stans head for letting them setup a play.  The guy hit a clutch shot.

hind sight is usually 20/20..... nothing to say but USF could have won but suffered from UCONN experience and expertise in coaching.

It's not the lack of a timeout that hurt, it was the inability to defend the court length dribble.  Some tough man-to-man would have likely resulted in the clock draining and not the shot with  :0.2 left.  I saw a replay on it on ESPNNews and it looked to me like we should have defended better - plain and simple.  Great game though, there were times in the second half that earlier in the season we would have let it get away.  We are playing with much more confidence than a couple weeks ago.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
