lol at FLSportsfan83 disappearing from this board after being asked to name the 10-15 backs.

The dude is the board jester...

Probably can't name 10-15 backs period.

Unfortunately, you don't have to know jack about football to post on these boards - especially this one.

RB Darren McFadden, 6' 1" 218, Arkansas

RB Jonathan Stewart, 5' 10" 220, Oregon

RB Felix Jones, 5' 11" 202, Arkansas

RB Rashard Mendenhal, 5' 11" 224, Illinois

RB Steve Slaton, 5' 9" 202, West Virginia

RB Ray Rice, 5' 8" 200, Rutgers

Chris Johnson, E. Carolina

Mike Hart, Michigan

Tashard Choice, Georgia Tech

and the guy from Texas

Jamaal Charles

I think that is 10

Points are lost cause GT's mediocre back was listed.  It looked more like him just trying to fill slots.

Precombine, I rate Smith near Rice and Slaton.  Slaton vanished during big games and Rice got a lot of his yards after the game was decided.

Johnson will be a return specialist, not a RB in the NFL.

His bowl game helped him out alot.....

Funny Dawg is the only 1 to show after i listed the backs.

We shall see who is right.....

It may not be those 10, but 10 back go b4 24k..... I cant wait to see his 40time, he claims he has not been clocked since high school.

He still had 70 carries less than smith and almost the same kind of production.  Could you please name some examples of all the times he got yd's during garbage time?  Gotta back up your claims around these parts.

We will see how good the NFL thinks the player that "should have won the doak" is.

The NFL will not be fooled by the numbers kevin Smith put up against CUSA D's.

I bet he goes 4-6 Round

That makes no sense.  You are comparing apples to oranges.  Just because a player has the second best season in the history of the NCAA doesn't mean that he will be a stud in the pros.  It's a different game. Just ask former Heisman winners Ron Dayne, Rashan Salaam, Jason White, and Eric Crouch.  Then again, didn't LT put up pretty good #s against against weak defenses while he was at TCU and Marshall Faulk came from SDSU?  What ever happened to them?  Seriously - you really should stop making USF fans look bad.  Have you ever started a thread that doesn't try to put down UCF?  I would be impressed with a pro-USF thread that doesn't have anything to do with us.  I honestly think that you would rather see UCF lose than USF win.  And you say that there isn't a rivalry brewing...

I start many threads that have nothing to do with UCiF

I watched the CUSA championship game and 24K broke a long run and a Tulsa DB caught up with him from behind at around the 20 yard line.  24K abused him like a b*tch and put him on his a*s (and finished the TD).  IMO, he was able to do it because he runs upright and maintains his upper body strength.  You can't teach upright running.  It makes you look slower than you are, it allows you to maintain great vision and it affords you the leverage to stiff arm like a mofo.  The prototypical "upright runner" is Eric Dickerson (with all due respect to O.J. Simpson, Marcus Allen and Terrell Davis).  If 24K is half as good as Dickerson, he can play on my team.

I predict this.  He won't go super early, but he'll go to a team with a respectable front office that seems to always run good drafts.

BTW, USF dominated him because we dominated his entire team and he was swarmed.
