So what do fans on message boards do when both the basketball and football teams are doing well?

Usually we find something else to complain about! Maybe the mascot, the band or the color of the sky.

But UCF got too bored and we decided to take over another board.

The way we're playing is to basically act like it is our board. Anything UCF related is fine, anything not UCF related is off Topic - including posts relevant to the board we're actually on.

SOOOO you can help. If you're on rivals check out the Duke Board. Feel free to come on by and wish us luck on Saturday against UTEP, on Thursday in hoops against Villanova or start a conversation about C-USA.

Just act like you would on a UCF board. Take a look at this link and you'll see just how funny this is and why it's worth participating in.

And watch out - you're board may be next!

I keed I keed.  It's actually fun to watch and most opponent posters join in on the fun(especially at USC..they loved it).

So maybe the post I saw was bogus ...... ;)

I obviously overestimated the maturity of level of a good bulk of their fans.  ::)

What's sad is that there was no need for a USF fan to jump in there and further associate us with them .....

Actually it was a funny prank...Duke fans were all sorts of confused, while the USC fans got a chuckle out of it.  I've never seen anything like it from anyone else.  There was no smack talk...they just posted on other boards as if they were on their own talking about UCF related topics.

They are desperated to get more attention....  the more takeover, the more annoy.  We had some attention because we are better team and the most dangerous team in the country.

The fact there was someone here repeating over and over that it was a glitch despite what everyone else said (and the content of the 'takeover' itself) validates it as a solid prank.

Some of you kids really need to loosen up.

The Duke thing was hilarious "OT: Duke Wins" - priceless!

The WSU was funny for the same reason Triple is funny - they believed it was a glich.

I didn't get to see the results of the USC one...but I guess they made some west coast friends along the way.

Lighten up kids.
