Grothe goes 31 for 54 for 382 yards in the air and a TD, plus runs for 75 more... and some folks are calling for Alton Voss? With all due respect... that's idiotic. People love to give the QB props when we are winning and hate on him when we lose. It's part of being the face of the program. He's been overachieving for 2 years and he will continue to do so for the next 2.That being said... there is no reason for him to have thrown the ball 54 times. But when you're playing from behind... it's how it goes.To claim that he had a terrible game and that he "sucks" though is absolutely ridiculous. Dropped balls, muffed punts, blocked kicks, fumbles, and yes interceptions... guess what, they ALL contributed to this loss.

And I sit right next to you, so I know you make quite a few. ;-)382 yards in the air. 75 on the ground. 457 yards of offense didn't cost us the game. Giving up 31 points in the first quarter had a hell of a lot more to do with us losing than Grothe did.

You weren't there to see him in the second half.

I just wasn't sitting next to you because I got tired of the F-word ringing off my ears every 5 seconds. But thanks for caring. ;D
