No, not Mike Ford. Cedric Hill needs to get some more chances. He's a big target and unlike many of the receivers, he catches almost everything that's thrown to him. He would be ideal for the chain-moving patterns.

Everything but the TD pass last week @ UCONN, where he was wide open

That still puts him ahead of many receivers who have dropped multiple TD passes this year.

While it still hit him in the chest and he should have caught it... he wasn't "wide open"... the U Conn defender jumped in front of him and blocked his view briefly... Cedric may have expected the pass to be blocked or at least tipped, and when it wasn't, he was too surprised to react.

JMHO.

He still should have caught it.

That was AMP Hill, not CEDRIC Hill.

We should just get it to Busbee more. He's clearly the better tight end. (Ben is a really good friend of mine. I know Ced is a better athlete.)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
