The BIG EAST home schedule is an exciting one and includes games against Rutgers (Jan. 2), Pittsburgh (Jan. 9), West Virginia (Jan. 20), Louisville (Jan. 23), St. John’s (Feb. 2), Syracuse (Feb. 13), Connecticut (Feb. 16), Seton Hall (Feb. 26) and Notre Dame (March 8 ).

USF’s three home-and-home series will have the Bulls facing Rutgers, Seton Hall and Syracuse on the road as well. Additional road games will be played at Cincinnati, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence and Villanova.

The non-conference home schedule is highlighted by visits from UCF (Dec. 1), East Carolina (Nov. 24) and UAB (Dec. 8 ). The marquee game on the road prior to BIG EAST play will be at Wake Forest on Dec. 19. The Bulls will also have the home court advantage against St. Francis (Dec. 22) and Winston-Salem State (Dec. 29) and will face Atlantic 10 member Rhode Island, in-state rival FAU and ACC member Florida State in consecutive days between Nov. 16-18 in the Glenn Wilkes Classic in Daytona Beach.

With the arrival of Coach Heath, the 2007-08 season will be the start of a new era for the USF men’s basketball program. Heath will lead the Bulls into their third BIG EAST season after successful coaching stints at Arkansas and Kent State, which included three NCAA Tournament appearances, a 30-win season and an Elite Eight finish.
