Some interesting stuff here with regards to the economics behind the states D-1 programs. 

Unfortunatley the best tables were omitted from this online version.  Those tables showed a breakdown of revenue and expenses for each of the football programs.  The USF football program reported a $2MM profit for 2006.

So we gave out $14,103 per year for each scholarship athlete ($1.1M / 78)... what do you guys think, too much or too litte?
