Also, another one might go pro after this year, so it could be even less. Here is what I have. Let me know if I left someone off.Mike JenkinsWoody GeorgeJarrett BuieJared Carnes (?)Was really surprised to learn that Gilliam, Cray, and Clebert didn't take a RS. Well, Gilliam did but it was at Oregon State I think. Plus he had the mandatory year off for the transfer.

You can only play in a fifth season if you didn't play in one of your first four seasons or played a small amount early, suffered an injury and qualified for a medical redshirt.Buie, as a nonqualifier, had to sit out his first season on campus and is eligible to get that year of eligibility back if he can graduate before next season. He's on pace to do so, so USF will honor him with its seniors, even though he'll have a chance to earn another year of eligibility by getting his degree.Woody George would be in the same position, but I do not believe a fifth year is in play for him. George I only counted 3 years including one academic year. Also, with Jenkins I only counted 3 years, meaning he still has another one if he comes back (but he won't). By experience I mean age, because we all know Selvie is a player with plenty of experience, but after him its very thin. Don't know what happened, but it seems that one year we forgot to sign Defensive Lineman. We have No Juniors stepping up next year on the DL. It will show next year. Here are the players I count that will need to contribute next year on the DL:Selvie- SophC. Robinson (right now listed as LB, but I see a switch back to DE coming soon)- SophAaron Harris- SophMatt Aycox- SophJosh Smiley- R FrDarren Powe- FrTerrell McClain- FrCorian Garrison- FrDavid Fonua- FrKyle Dampier- FrClaude Davis (who knows what will happen with him?)- FrLeslie Stirrups (is he still targetting 2008 and USF?)- Soph

The starting line will be: Buie (if he gets another year), McClain, Harris and Selvie. Garrison is hurt and redshirting.Stirrups is for 2009 class, and Davis (if he came back) would be 2009 or 2010.We are recruiting some DTs with more size this year but are kids who can move. Staff prefers smaller DTs who can move as opposed to Huge guys who don't run well.

Jenkins was high school class of 2003. He redshirted the 2003 season. RS Freshman season was 2004 season. Count onwards from there. So 2005 Jr 2006 Sr 2007.
