No, lets not stick with an OC just because he is new.  Look at Robinson and Syracuse.  He is great, Syracuse was-is great, but their marriage is a flop.

Lets cut away from our OC and try another.  He is too conservative and does not have that sparc that Leavitt has/once exhibited.

Just a thought - don't harsh us/me

his calls come from leavitt'

dont blame oc

our offfense remains a joke

our receivers cant catch the ball-they dont even know the proper technique and yes i can coach them better than they are being coached now

talyor has a great run and touches ball 4 more times-stupid

I disagree.  We have a sophmore QB, a couple of true freshman RB still learning, a former walkon RB picking up the slack as our two studs learn the game, a severely banged up oline and some injuries in our WR corps (TJ, Amarri, Erskin, etc.). Our OC is doing the best he can with what we have.  We don't have a stable of 3, 4, 5 star players to draw on.  The naked bootleg was a bad call, but if it worked we would be saying how great he is.  We need to keep plugging away and getting better every year.  Our recruiting has to pick up for us to consistently compete.  Our offense will be better next year, and even better the year after that.

it is the offense we run that is the problem

grothe cant keep winning every game for usf

Curious what your resume is in coaching.

Some have legit comments, but some comments here are just silly. If some on here were half as smart as they think they are, they could atleast double their income and get a great job in football.

Arm Chair Coaches plentiful.

Mmmmmmmkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy.......

Follow E.T. logic here, and virtually no coach in history should have been fired.

Most Athletic Directors have never coached a game.

Brilliance personified.

gregory is def. more qualified than I am. but running that naked bootleg was pop warner. the was doomed right when he called it. our offense is just predictable. from my "armchair" i can call out what play we are about to run. usually its grothe runs off gaurd (to one side or the other)

After watching the replay the offensive coaches need to take some heat for that call.

On the 2nd down Plancher carry (that got stuffed) MG faked the boot after he handed off to Plancher.  I watched the defensive end and he stayed home and was just waiting for MG.  The offensive coaches should have recognized that the end was staying home in that formation and they would have realized that the naked boot was not going to work in that situation.

Also its his first year as the USF OC so give him time. Now if the O is the same way next year then I will start to call for someones head but not until then.

All right...fine.  We give him another year, right boys?  But if we don't see sum dancin' then I still have my lynchin' rope handy!  (queue Gabby Hayea country-western bar cackle).

That's very true.

But it seems to me the thing a lot of you guys are missing is that it's not just ONE PLAY we should be concerned about.

Yes, that ONE PLAY was bad, but it's Gregory's overall scheme.....his overall mindset.

His GAMEPLANS are just woefully inadequate.

He was outcoached by ELON for crying out loud.
