We are not a very good road team in conference. Since joining the Big East our record in conference road games in 3-6. Yep you read that right, 3-6. That is one road win per year. Overall we are 9-8 in conference games. It seems we're alot better than that, but in reality we're not. Here is the breakdown by year:2005 Road Games@ Rutgers- Win@ Pitt- Loss@ Syracuse- Win@ UConn- Loss2006 Road Games@ Cincinnati- Loss@ Louisville- Loss@ West Virginia- Win2007 Road Games@ Rutgers- Loss@ UConn- LossWhy are we so bad on the road? (and even the Auburn game, which while not a conference game, shows that we can handle the hostile situations). i think the timing of a lot of these road games play a big factor. usually they're letdown games in one way or another

Always have been. I thought that this year may be different, but in the end, it's the same old problems.USF Football: Playing up or down to our competition since 1997. I knew we were bad on the road, but I didn't know it was that bad. I also thought our overall record would be better than 1 game over .500. I guess that was the point of my post. We might think we're a ton better, but we're not.

Yes I recognize that the weather had let up but it was later in the day and not that cold. We've played plenty in the rain and 68 degrees even with rain is not that cold when you're out running around whether you're a florida native or not.
