#21 in coach's poll with uconn #20

When you lose two games (especially to un/low-ranked opponents) consecutively, you are gonna drop hard.  UF in top 20 is unbelievable to me but that's the coaches poll for ya.  The SEC are voting their own real high.

There is such a bias against the Big East it's crazy.

And how the hell is Georgia #10?

The SEC isn't that good this year, just look at their out of conference schedule against decent teams (only LSU's big win over VT is impressive...that's it).

How the hell can you say there is a bias against the Big East when we (a) have 37.5% of our teams in the top 25 and ( we are ranked #21 despite being the bottom dwellers (with Cincy, Pitt and Cuse) in the Big East?

But SEC is way more shameless.  I bet their ballots looked like:

3. Georgia

4. Auburn

5. Florida

6. Alabama

7. Kentucky

11. Fill in non-SEC team that they consider garbage here

uf is a joke

usc did lose to a top 5 team on the road sso they are probably close to where they should be maybe 1 or 2 notches too high but not that far off from reality

The ones that make me barf are the WAC and Big Ten teams. The Big Ten's been awful all year; just check their non-conference results. And the WAC is a glorified Sun Belt. If Boise State was in the east, they'd be Troy State.

Indeed.  USC has beaten nobody and lost to Standford.  They also struggled to beat Arizona, who Standford also beat, and struggled to beat Washington, who has yet to win a Pac-10 game this year (0-5).  people can just not adjust to the fact that USC is not as good as their talent suggests they should be.

UF, Texas, and Georgia are all ridiculously high.  Texas should have dropped after struggling against Nebraska.  But that's how the polls work...UF could lose 2 more and still be ranked.
