The BCS can call itself whatever it wants, but by the meaning of the words it can also be called rankings.  If you aren't going to play by the BCS rules in that the BCS was created to only have 1 champnion, then what do you care what they call themselves?  The Big East calls it rankings.

Anyway, considering we have no shot at a national championship in either the AP or BCS, I see no reason to use the 1 AP Poll over the compilation of polls that is the BCS when the BCS actually might have significance in what bowl game we go to.  Also, the top 4 bowls are "BCS" bowls.  If we win the Big East, we go to a "BCS" bowl, not an AP Bowl.

But fine, use your meaningless AP Poll.  I still appreciate the work you put into it.  No matter what poll, ranking, standing, or whatever you use, I'll still have to look it up on ESPN to see where we are in all the individual polls anyway.  In the end, I just feel like the BCS means more in public perception at this time.  I'm not sure why you are in love with the Associated Press.

USF will be behind all other 2 loss teams because you lost 2 in a row.  See CAL rules.  #2 to #22 in 2 weeks.  You guys played like **** though, so I would expect to see 23-24ish if you are lucky.  It dont matter, you wont keep that rank long anyway.  You wont beat Louisville and probably not Cincy either.

i hate to agree with him, but he might be right...  we got a nice pizza or muffler bowl coming up for us again.

wvu did play great today.

It doesn't matter to me where we are ranked in the standings this evening.  What does matter is that we continue to support the team.

Sagarin dropped us from 9 to 11 in his BCS computer ranking.  If this is indicative of the computer rankings and the Harris/Coaches have us in the high teens/low 20's, then we should be around 16-18 BCS.

If you ask me, which no one is, but rankings this year really don't mean ****.  This season has been stupid crazy and I hope Hawaii and Boston College play for the MNC.

MNC??  Meaningless National Championship?

Mythical National Championship -- so called because there is no playoff to determine an actual national champion.
